The SF-LG Solution
The Laser Grinder¢ç is the worlds most advanced laser-guided floor grinding system and was developed by the CoGri Group in the early 1990¡¯s specifically for the upgrading of warehouse floors to the stringent tolerances required by Very Narrow Aisle storage systems. The Laser Grinder¢ç enables aisles on new and old floors to be upgraded to the flatness specifications required to operate VNA lift trucks safely and at their optimum efficiency.

In order to grind the floor as quickly as possible without excessive grinding depths to provide a cost effective solution, the laser guided grinding heads grind the floor to allowable gradients - which are well within the limits of the specification. Specially developed diamond grinding blades are used to create a flat path across the full width of each truck wheel path. The laser grinding system is totally flexible. Just the three or four wheel tracks can be ground to tolerance for a cost effective system, or better still the whole width of the aisle can be ground to provide a new floor path that satisfies the specification for different types of VNA lift trucks.

The Laser Grinder¢ç was specifically designed to be used in an operational warehouse, causing minimal disruption to the Clients operations. The wet, vacuum enclosed grinding process is free from airbourne dust and is clean enough to operate alongside fully stocked racks, even in food and pharmaceutical facilities. Only one or two aisles are required at any time and upon completion of each aisle, the floor can be immediately used. Coatings are not needed as long as the concrete is of reasonable condition, in fact the Abrasion Resistance of the new floor surface is often improved due to exposure of the aggregate.

Cleaner, faster and without the problems caused by a dished floor profile - associated with manual grinding methods, if you want a one time investment for upgrading your VNA warehouse floor chose the Laser Grinder¢ç. Beware of the consequences of accepting imitations or cheaper alternatives which cannot guarantee the required tolerances and optimum VNA truck performance. The CoGri Group pioneering VNA floor grinding technology and have upgraded more than 100,000 m of VNA aisles worldwide since 1993, including more than 25,000 m in Asia alone.
