The SF-FT Solution




Developments in modern floor construction technology mean that experienced flooring contractors can now construct floors by Laser Screed to a high tolerance with outputs of up to 2000 m2 per day.  Some are even able to construct floors to TR-34 Category 1 tolerances for use with VNA lift heights up to 13 m, although daily outputs may only be up to 1000 m2 per day and some grinding can be expected.



However when the VNA lift height is more than 13 m and TR-34 Superflat specification is required or the warehouse floor area is very large, you need to seriously consider the CoGri Korea SF-FT solution for Fast-Track VNA floor construction.  As soon as the roof and walls are in place, CoGri Korea will construct the floor using it¡¯s S-240 Laser Screed to a tolerance of TR-34 FM2.  As soon as the concrete has cured sufficiently, overhead services and racking can be installed. 

 

Once the racking is in place, Face Consultants Ltd will be engaged to carry out a Profileograph Survey in the VNA aisles to determine the amount of grinding required to achieve the required tolerance.  While the Warehouse operator is bringing its    stock in, or even after the warehouse becomes operational, the patented Laser Grinder¢ç system is then used to grind the floor to the required tolerance followed by final Compliance Testing.



By taking the time consuming part of the work off of the critical path, the SF-FT can shave weeks off the programme, giving substantial financial benefits to the Client.  For example a 15,000 m2 VNA floor would require more than 20 days of casting using the conventional Long Strip construction method, compared to only 8 days by Laser Screed. 

 

Either Wheel Track Grinding or Whole Aisle grinding can be done depending on the Clients budget and MHE requirements, and grinding depth is minimised.
